1) We’re All In This Together from High School Musical
Where Zac Efron started his career. This is a bright upbeat song about cooperation between people who are different.
If this song and the jumpy dances don’t get you in a good mood, I don’t know what will!
2) Colors Of The Wind from Pocahontas
This song has more or less the same message as We’re All in this Together: People can look different and have different viewpoints, but they’re not less valuable. It also has an ecological message. In her poetic song, Indian girl Pocahontas explains her white friend what nature can teach us: There is a spirit in everything, and we should live with nature, not destroy it. Only then can we enjoy its riches.
3) Food, Glorious Food from Oliver Twist
The boys in the workhouse are hungry and dream of marvellous, glorious, abundant food! No wonder, as they only get gruel (a watery porridge) day after day, and so little of it that the boys draw a bet who must ask the manager for more to eat. As you can expect, that lot falls to Oliver Twist.
